When I was a public Rep, I often used my time between PC meetings (lunch or tea breaks) to "plant a seed" on solutions to what were on the agenda with ANC colleagues. They would then bring it up in the meeting as if it was their idea and therefore adopted. The moral of the story - good ideas are generally discarded by the governing party, not because of the content, but because of it's origin.<br />Perhaps your submission on the Election and strategy of the Party should also be posted here?
